Shaping the Future of Scholarly Publishing: Library Participation in Enhancing Open Infrastructure

Marisa MacDonald has worked for more than a decade in a variety of roles for libraries of all shapes and sizes (academic, medical, and public). She has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Calgary (Calgary, Canada) and a Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada). She joined the Public Knowledge Project full time in January 2019 and is excited to tell the stories of how this amazing international community – including software developers, librarians, scholars, and more – is making knowledge public.
