Eva Goldgruber participated in the Summer School REDA -Research Ethics in the
Digital Age
on the topic of Ethics for the Social Sciences and Humanities in Times of Mediatization and Digitization hosted by the School of Humunities and Social Sciences of Technische Universität Dreseden, Germany from September 6th – 12th, 2015.

She contributed to the session “Just because it’s accessible, is it also ethical? by presenting a scientifitc poster about our investigation of online communication during emergency situations and reflected challenges and solutions in integrating ethical dimensions when studying the use of social media in our three different cases.

The RESCUE project arouse the participants interest and a lot of conversations took place, also with persons contucting similar research (e.g. the 2013 floodings in Dresden).

The summer school was funded by the Excellence Initiative of the German federal and state government, the participants were selected in a peer-review process due to the excellent research.
